Why do people wait till it's too late?

Consider the example of the elderly people in your family most of them will have some sort of pain in their join especially hip and knees, which affect their ability to perform daily activities their general tendency would be to continue consuming pain medication and use an ad walking stick till a point where even this doesn't help. This is when they deem themselves "sick enough" to consult a Doctor. The known cause of joint pain and disability is arthritis. Although there are many types of arthritis, most joint pain is caused by just 3 types of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and post-traumatic arthritis the commonest of which is osteoarthritis. The patient suffering from osteoarthritis from three does not act in time.
